About

I was born in the suburbs, raised in the suburbs and plan to grow old in the suburbs. Not quite as exciting as being born in the Bayou but that’s all I got. I am a teacher, mother, wife, friend.  I live in a neighbourhood that is so close, it may be classified as a cult. My life should be boring…but it’s not.

  1. Thank you for subscribing to my blog. I am delighted to make your acquaintance here, and plan to browse your blogs to my heart and mind’s content. BTW, your Beagle avatar is totally cute. My younger sister has two Beagles, and they are great characters.

  2. busy reading your other posts now… I think I should have a category titled “Rants” too! I think you have two blogs? I’m following both anyway… am I right that I read somewhere you quit teaching this year? I’ll go back and re-read that blog, I remember it as a bit of a soul searching piece.

  3. I came to your blog via facebook post someone shared (your Snow Day post…it’s a crazy winter this year in Michigan.). I’ve enjoyed reading your other posts…you do such a wonderful job of saying exactly what I and so many other educators think. Thank you…I can’t wait to read more! 🙂

  4. Thank you for the follow. I am not a teacher but have worked with teenage learners in theatre, and look forward to reading future posts of yours.
